Bio: She focuses on quantum dots for high-performance optoelectronic devices, particularly in infrared sensing and QD-LEDs. Her expertise includes quantum dot synthesis, surface engineering, organic molecular design, and device fabrication&physics.

2010-2014: University of Science and Technology of China, Bachelor's Degree; 
2014-2019: University of California, Riverside, Ph.D, under Prof. Minglee Tang; 
2020-2021: University of California, Riverside, Postdoctoral Researcher, under Prof. Minglee Tang, specialized in silicon quantum dots and QD-based field-effect transistors; 
2021-2024: University of Toronto, Postdoctoral Researcher, under Prof. Edward H. Sargent, focused on QD optoelectronics; 
Dr. Xia has participated in 15 collaborative projects and published more than 15 papers, including 8 as the first author, in leading journals such as Advanced Materials and Nature Chemistry.
